Mission Statement: For over 30 years, Rainforest Trust have engaged in a mission to to purchase and protect threatened rainforests and save endangered wildlife through community engagement and local partnerships.

Rainforest Trust purchases and protects the most threatened tropical forests, saving endangered wildlife through partnerships and community engagement.

They are committed to providing lasting, on-the-ground protection, which requires the ongoing support and participation of local communities.

These communities are engaged through the creation of sustainable economic opportunities for local men and women, including training as fellows, guardians, wildlife monitors and ecotourism guides.

Thanks to the generosity of their donors, the expertise of partners and the participation of local communities across the tropics, their reserves are exemplary models of international conservation.

All donations go directly to their projects, see what they are, and how you can get involved!

All donations are doubled through the SAVES initiative!

What can your donation do?

At the moment, our monthly donations go to the urgent project of preserving Monarch Corridor in Mexico. Rainforest Trust its local partners are aiming to create a 1,487,748-acre Protected Area in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. The new Protected Area will provide safe habitat for numerous threatened species, including threatened parrot species such as the Red-crowned Amazon and the Yellow-headed Amazon. Each acre protected will also store over 30 metric tonnes of CO2 equivalents, helping to protect the planet against climate change
