Here at TwoBirds, we sell art to raise money for charities tackling the climate crisis. We support Friends of the Earth, Rainforest Trust, Avon Wildlife Trust, The Hunger Project, and Ocean Generations, as they strive for a better world in which people and nature thrive harmoniously. These charities are engaged in critical projects seeking to mitigate the impacts of climate degradation, and the various socio-political issues associated with it. From grassroots campaigning and community mobilisation, to governmental lobbying and protective acquisitions of endangered habitats, these organisations exist to serve us and our futures.
Our mission is driven by the harsh reality of the science on climate change. Greenhouse gas emissions are causing alarming rates of planetary warming, and CO2 levels are at dangerously high levels. Ecosystems and habitats across the globe are being disrupted and destroyed, and the lives of humans and animals are under existential threat. To add to the problem, governments globally are responding too slowly to these threats, and can often only offer false promises that get delayed and forgotten.
In spite of this, our message at TwoBirds is one of hope and conviction; we have no choice but to be creative. As the earth calls for action, we are here to act. Through the power of art and community, we want to empower and mobilise people around the world to stand up for the future of our planet.
We have also supported Shelter and SOS Children's Villages, raising over £400
